The cost of the initial intake consultation is $395 (75 minutes).

Follow-up therapy appointments are $295 per session (50 minutes).
Typically, we'll meet on a weekly basis, but scheduling varies depending on each person's needs.
Like most specialized PhD-level psychologists, I am not an in-network insurance provider. Upon request, I can provide a superbill, so that you can file with your insurance company for any possible out-of-network reimbursement. The superbill documentation include diagnostic information and treatment codes.
Dr. Penela does not offer sliding scale fee options. If you would like to receive information about low-cost referral options, please complete this form.

My office is located in Pembroke Pines, Florida (near I-75 and Pines Blvd). This location is convenient for individuals commuting from Weston, Miramar, Davie, Cooper City (and other areas of Broward County), as well as northern parts of Miami-Dade County.

Kelly Rocha is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others. As Practice Manager at Wellness in Broward, Kelly will be the welcoming voice you hear on the phone when calling to schedule an appointment. She enjoys speaking with individuals about their concerns and helping to connect them with effective therapy services. Kelly works with enthusiasm and diligence to make sure patients have an excellent customer service experience.
In addition to her role at Wellness in Broward, Kelly serves as a Grant Director in Vocational Rehabilitation. In this capacity, she assists individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of employment and independence. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, including her daughter and two furry companions. |
